The DH100 has a different linkage set up and travel path allowing for more travel. The DH 100 gets 7-8" and the DH50 gets 6-6.5". I own a DH50 myself in small 16" and it's a bit on the taller side. If you are south of 5'7" it may run a bit tall since you can't slack the rear end like the newer rigs... Mine runs on 24" DW's
